East coast Em wants me to write a story about Sephardi Jews. She says Benjamin Rosenbaum will give me a cookie if i do.
The second i started actually doing research for a story, i became instantly addicted to Google Timeline.
Speaking of research, i want to write a story for John Joseph Adam’s The Way of the Wizard Anthology set during the Portuguese Inquisition. I think this map will be useful.
Sarah pointed me at this article about The Nemesis for said story. I mix all this together and i get … who knows?

Someday, perhaps years from now, I will suddenly be inspired and write a story about a Jew, and then I will come find you and demand my half a cookie.
Actually, now I'm curious about the math here–if I write a story about a half-Jew, do I get a quarter of a cookie? Or no cookie, as half of my family is Jewish? Does it depend on what faith the main character was brought up in? Ooh, if it's a Jew half of whose family is Christian what fraction of a cookie would that get me?
